This stainless steel, single server coupe dripper is used in replace of a perforated spoon, when preparing a historically correct, traditional absinthe. The brouilleur (Mixer in French) is placed on the rim of an absinthe glass. You would then place your sugar cube(s) inside the coupe. Cold or iced water is slowly poured over the sugar while the 3 small holes in the bottom of the coupe allow for the sugar water to slowly drip into the glass of absinthe.
