Bar Rescue - Irish Eyes Aren't Smiling (S4, E10)

CAMPBELL’S IRISH PUB (PACKY'S PUB) – MILWAUKEE, WI

In 1986, Patrick “Packy” Campbell emigrated to the United States from Ireland and got involved in the bar business. He managed a popular Milwaukee bar named Steny’s for a total of 14 years. Confident that he had enough experience to run his own bar, he brought his friend Guppy along. In the beginning, this Irish Pub was a huge success and busy all the time, but about six years later, when Packy put the pub on the back burner to raise his family, things declined, because Packy let the staff run the place. This turned out to be a free for all.

For the bar, Jon brought in Gerry Graham, national brand ambassador for Bushmills Irish Whiskey to help training the stuff behind the bar. Gerry taught the stuff how to make "Packy's Irish Coffee" and "Auld Fashioned" cocktail that is served in our BarConic® Executive™ Rock Glass.

Packy’s Irish Coffee

  • 1½ oz. Bushmills Original Irish Whiskey
  • 4 oz. Hot coffee
  • 1 spoonful brown sugar
  • 1 oz. Whipped cream
  • GLASS: Irish coffee mug

Auld Fashioned

Stir. Strain into BarConic® Executive™ Rocks Glass over fresh ice. Garnish with orange twist.
