If you own a bar, Billiards Room, Bowling Center, Bingo Hall, Casino, Restaurant, etc, and have smoke, vocs, or odors, then you need a Smoke Eater. A smoke eater is a class of air cleaning equipment that is designed to clean the air of smoke.
Mark-10 Ceiling/Wall MountIt is recommended that the Mark-10 Air Cleaner be installed in areas that have 9-10 ft. ceiling heights. The Mark-10 is equipped with 4 eye bolts installed 16" on center on top of each system for easy installation. The installation hardware also includes: 4 "S" hooks, 4 eye lags and industrial hanging wire.Dimensions: 35-1/2"L x 25-1/2"W x 13"H Electrical: 4.2 amps, 120 volts, 2 speed, 10 ft. power cord, 3 prong grounded plug. Filters: 1/2" Polyester Tackified Pre-filter, 1/2" Activated Carbon Filter, 12" deep HEPA Filter. Weight: 100 lbs. CFM: 1000 Coverage: 1 per 800-1000 sq. ft. *UV Adaptable |

10.0 Flushmount In-CeilingThe 10.0 Flushmount Air Cleaner is designed to drop into a suspended ceiling. It replaces either 1-2x4 ceiling tile or 2- 2x2 ceiling tiles. In order to install the 10.0 FM easily, the clearance above the suspended ceiling needs to be at least 13" and it is recommended that the air cleaner be installed in areas that do not exceed a 13 ft. ceiling height. The weight of the system does not rest on the ceiling grid but is secured above the suspended ceiling to a permanent structure such as a joist or beam. All filters on the 10.0 FM are accessible from the louvered door and hinged door on the face of the system.Dimensions: 46-1/2"L x 23-3/4"W x 12"H Electrical: 4.2 amps, 120 volts, 2 speed, 10 ft. power cord, 3 prong grounded plug. Filters: 1/2" Polyester Tackified Pre-filter, 1/2" Activated Carbon Filter, 12" deep HEPA Filter. Weight: 85 lbs. CFM: 1200 Coverage: 1 per 800-1000 sq. ft. *UV Adaptable |

Pre-Filters 12 Pre filters are supplied with each system. The pre filter is changed monthly and removes larger particles such as lint, hair, dust, and pollen. The pre filter is important because not only does it remove the larger particles, it also helps prolong the life of the HEPA filter in the system. Essentially, the pre filter is the first line of defense in maintaining your system; therefore promoting better indoor air quality. |

Activated Carbon Filters 6 Activated Carbon Filters (pad) are supplied with each system. The activated carbon filter is changed every two months and removes odors by absorbing the odor molecules into the filter. Since the activated carbon can only absorb a certain amount of molecules, it will begin releasing the trapped molecules, once it is full, back into the air if not properly maintained. Most indoor air quality issues are resolved by using the standard activated carbon filter pad. For those who have heavier odor situations; we offer 3 Activated Carbon Filters (panel) in lieu of the standard activated carbon filters (pad). The activated carbon panel filter is changed every four months and is filled with actual activated carbon pellets. These pellets, which have more absorption strength, have a longer life and therefore can be more effective for odor control. As with the standard activated carbon, the activated carbon panel filter must be maintained in order to preserve proper function of the system and promote healthy indoor air. So please…remember to change your carbon filters. |

HEPA Filter HEPA is an acronym for High Efficiency Particulate Air (filter) 1 HEPA Filter is supplied with each system (12” thick). The HEPA filter removes the very small particles, such as smoke (tobacco, burning wood, oil, rosin), dust mites, spores, mold, pollen, spray paint, spray paint dust, ashes, cement dust, auto emissions, textile fibers, fiberglass, hairspray, insecticide dust, copier toner and most viruses just to name a few. As you can see, the HEPA filter is an extremely important filter and when used and maintained properly will dramatically improve your indoor air quality. We cannot stress enough the importance of the HEPA filter to our system and the fact the HEPA filter must be maintained in order to achieve the maximum results. Here is a brief explanation of a HEPA Filter and how it works. The HEPA filter is a throwaway filter in a rigid metal frame. It is constructed with high efficiency water resistant, inorganic glass microfiber media that is pleated to form a media pack. Rolled edge aluminum separators are inserted between each pleat to provide an extensive open area for airflow and to stabilize the media pack. The entire media pack is sealed with a fire retarding, rubber base, two-part sealant that bonds the media and separators to the interior of the metal filter frame to prevent air bypass. As air passes into the HEPA filter, the particles (such as smoke, dust, etc…) attach to the filter media and are trapped. As the HEPA filter collects more and more particles, the HEPA filter actually increases in efficiency, but with this efficiency also comes a reduction in air velocity. As the HEPA filter continues to load, less air will be able to pass through the filter, therefore greatly altering the effectiveness of the system. This process does not happen overnight, but over time you will see the effectiveness of the system lessen and it will be an indicator that it may be time to replace the HEPA filter. Air attempting to pass through a loaded HEPA filter cannot because it is like running into a brick wall, which is why the HEPA filter must be replaced once a year. Proper maintenance of the HEPA filter is absolutely essential to the functionality of our air filtration systems as well as a vital part in continuing to provide a clean, healthy, pleasant indoor air environment. |
